Bay Area Diamond Company offers  jewelry appraisal services twice monthly. Knowing an accurate and current valuation for valuable jewelry piece(s) is super important for a number of reasons including:

 • insurance policies in case of damage, loss, or theft
 • estate tax valuations
 • value comparisons
 • liquidation
 • out of plain curiosity

No matter the reason, Bay Area Diamond Company can provide you with a comprehensive, up-to-date appraisal. 

Complimentary appraisals are included with all Bay Area Diamond Company diamond jewelry purchases. Brian Rouse (store owner) has his certificate in Diamond Grading from GIA. He is qualified to identify and classify diamonds by cut, color, clarity, and carat weights.

Twice a month, we have an independent appraiser visit our stores to perform appraisals on jewelry purchased elsewhere. Joel Hassler from Von Hasle Jewelers appraises at our Green Bay location. He brings 25+ years of experience and is a Certified Insurance Appraiser and Graduate Gemologist. Radica Radovic appraises at our Mundelein location. She is a Guild Gemologist / Appraiser and has been in the jewelry industry since 1992.

Please drop your piece off a few days early so an associate can perform a Check + Clean.
