2026 Bay Area Diamond COmpany Treasure Hunt

It’s time for the sixth annual Bay Area Diamond Company 'Treasure Hunt'! Here’s an explanation of the Treasure Hunt and how YOU can play during our three-week wintertime series. 

Starting on a Friday (Jan 23rd, Jan 30th, & Feb 6th), the Bay Area Diamond Company 'Treasure Box’ will be hidden in a secret location somewhere around the Bay Area. We'll release one cryptic and puzzling clue each day at 11am via email, Instagram, & our website as to the whereabouts of the treasure. You can also stop into Bay Area Diamond Company, try on a piece of jewelry, and receive a clue a day in advance. 

The stealthy seekers who solve the clues and hunt down the box each week will win a dazzling prize from Bay Area Diamond Company. Talk about a treasure hunt!

This is a three-week series, meaning the treasure will be in 3 different locations, have 3 unrelated sets of clues, and have 3 separate prizes. There are seven clues (or 7 days) to find each week’s treasure. We’ll notify seekers via email & Instagram when the box is found each week. The next week's Treasure Hunt will begin on the upcoming Friday.

The 'Hunting Grounds' are an approximate 10 mile radius around Green Bay.

The Treasure Box is a 9" x 5" x 3" plastic case.  

2026 Treasure Schedule

Box 1, clue 1: Friday, Jan. 23rd (released at 11am)
Box 1, clue 2: Saturday, Jan. 24th (released at 11am)
Box 1, clue 3: Sunday, Jan. 25th (released at 11am)
Box 1, clue 4: Monday, Jan. 26th  (released at 11am)
 …… etc. until the box is found


Box 2, clue 1: Friday, Jan. 30th (released at 11am)
Box 2, clue 2: Saturday, Jan. 31st (released at 11am)
…… etc. until the box is found


Box 3, clue 1: Friday, Feb. 6th (released at 11am)
Box 3, clue 2: Saturday, Feb. 7th (released at 11am)
…… etc. until the box is found

Rules

- Be safe and mindful of the land you are seeking on
- The Treasure Box will be at a public location
- No equipment (shovels, ladders) will be necessary

- Seekers can visit BADC to receive a clue a day in advance  (note- we are closed Sundays)
- You cannot visit the store to receive clue #1 in advance 
- A seeker can only win once per year
- Seeker must bring the Treasure Box back to BADC within 4 hours of finding. If you find it in the evening, please come at your earliest convenience the following day. 
- Seeker must pay taxes on their treasure
- Seeker must pay for any resizing / modifications of their treasure
