Today is National Pet’s Day! The day to celebrate our underrated best friends who are always there for us and love us for who we really are. Take some extra time to love your pet today; spoil them with their favorite meal, bring them home a new toy, or cuddle them extra long to show them how much they mean to you!
To celebrate the day, the Bay Area Diamond Company family would like to share with you some of our beloved pets and how we enjoy our time with them!
Alysse, one of our sales people, has two cats named Zeus and Calliope. Alysse’s favorite thing to do with her kitties is to watch the birds in their backyard while they sit on their outdoor porch. They’re rambunctious and funny cats that love to chatter at the birds!
Jenni is one of our in-house jewelers, and she has a kitty named Kitty! Aside from her descriptive name, Kitty likes to go on walks with Jenni and her family. Kitty trails along behind her people as they walk around their neighborhood in the evenings.
Our new office associate, Erin, has a very cute chihuahua named Pepper! Erin and Pepper are very active together. They enjoy long hikes and kayaking down local waterways. Pepper loves chasing acorns around the forest and hiding them in her mouth as they hike. How cute!
Riley, another one of our sales associates, has two small dogs named Minnie and Nala. These Disney themed dogs are very much loved by Riley’s 2 year old daughter, Nora. She loves to walk Nala and Minne herself, and feed them their breakfast in the morning!
Next, we have our sales associate, Andrew! He has a bearded dragon that he has affectionatly named 'Lizardie'! Andrew loves to watch Lizardie scurry around his tank and aggressively catch crickets.
Molly is our marketing manager, and she has a sweet 18 year old pup named Snickers. Despite his extremely old age, Snickers still enjoys going on short walks or just being outside. He loves to 'sun tan,' and he always finds the last sliver of sunshine available in the house, and he does his best to soak up before it's gone for the night. Molly loves her wise old dog more than anything!
Melanie, our Director of Operations, is the owner of our unofficial store mascot, Hank! You may have seen him on our social media page modeling jewelry for the store once in a while, and if you’re friends with Melanie, then you’ve definitely seen posts of this adorable dachshund before. Melanie loves to play hide and seek with Hank, and cuddle him before putting him to bed at night.
Lastly, we have Christina and her dogs, Remi and Daisy. According to Christina, they are the greatest friends she could ever ask for. The three of them love to go camping together on the weekends, and they love fishing off Chrstina’s boat, letting time slowly pass them by.
