There is really no better feeling when you are a small business than being encouraged & supported by your local community. That’s why, when the idea of Food Truck Fridays came to fruition within the store, our owner Brian Rouse excitedly jumped on the idea.
We created the ‘Food Truck Fridays’ series, where we invite a food truck to park in the Bay Area Diamond Company parking lot on the fourth Friday of the month and invite our customers and local community to dine with us. It’s a great way to experience a new restaurant/cuisine that you may have never tried before, and an awesome way to support a local business. We call that a win-win!
So far this summer, we’ve featured The Wandering Table, Bacon Burger Company, & Primal Eats. We were 10/10 impressed with the professionalism and the unique tastes each truck was able to whip up. We’re extremely excited for our final Food Truck Friday, happening September 22nd (2023), where we're welcoming both Caribbean Cruiser and Churned Up Ice Cream to our parking lot. These two trucks will be here from 12-3pm to serve our staff, customers, and community a delicious lunch — & dessert!
The best part of our final Food Truck Friday is that Brian is gracioiusly springing for FREE ice cream cones/dishes for all policemen, firefighters, and EMT’s that stop by! This is a small way we can show our appreciation for everything these ‘local heroes’ do in our community. If you are a first responder, just show up, show your badge, and chow down!
As always, you can stop inside Bay Area Diamond Company before ordering your food and get a complimentary Check + Clean on your jewlery. This is an easy 1-3 minute process in which an associate inspects your jewelry for possible damages, and then gives them a beatutiful polishing with our ultrasonic + steamer. In return for stopping in for a Check + Clean, we'll give you a coupon to use at either food truck. Another win-win!
If you ventured out to dine with + support one of our food trucks on Food Truck Fridays, we thank you! If you haven't, we loook eager to seeing you this Friday for our final trucks of the season. The series was a delicious success and we are eager to do it again next year!
